WINTER RYE

DAŃKOWSKIE AMBER – Healthy and standing! A population variety of winter rye. It is characterized by a very high yield level in Poland. A great advantage of this variety is a good lodging resistance. It is an early variety, which is good for water-poor soils. It features elevated protein content. The grain of this variety is characterized by high flour output, which makes it suitable for grinding purposes. High sugar content makes it best for spirit production. The recommended seeding rate at an optimum seeding time is 280-320 germinating grains per 1 m2 (ca 90-110 kg/ha). When it comes to late seeding, the seeding rate should be increased by 10%. In the case of early seeding and intensive seeding technology, the seeding rate should be reduced by 10%.

DAŃKOWSKIE DIAMOND– Diamond among cereals. Dańkowskie Diamond rye is one of the most fertile population varieties registered in Poland. The plants are of medium height and show good lodging resistance. In intensive cultivation, it is recommended to shorten the straw and provide protection against brown rust. A great advantage of Dańkowskie Diamond rye is a very good quality grain, which makes it best for grinding and baking purposes. This is due to the fact that this rye shows a high falling rate, a high maximum viscosity of starch paste and a high final germination temperature. A good resistance to premature seed germination in the ear contributes to the long-term maintenance of good quality in poor weather conditions.

DAŃKOWSKIE RUBIN – For poor soils and not only. A population variety with high and stable yield in Poland, Germany, Austria and Sweden. An early variety, suitable for cultivation under various weather and soil conditions. Especially suitable for poor soils. This is a variety of a shortened straw and good lodging resistance and therefore can be cultivated in more intensive technology. It has a beautiful and thick grain. It is characterized by a very good disease resistance and low susceptibility to ergot. Extraordinary tillering ability, recommended low seed seeding rate. The recommended seeding rate is 240-260 germinating seeds per 1 m2 (ca. 80-90 kg/ha), i.e. 2 seed units. When it comes to late seeding, the seeding rate should be increased by 10%, i.e. up to 2.2 seed units/ha. In the case of early seeding and intensive technology, the seeding rate should be reduced by 10%, i.e. up to 1.8 seed units/ha.

TUR F1 – Yields, health and posture are the advantages of TUR! This variety has been grown in cooperation with HR Smolice sp. z o.o. IHAR Group. Triline hybrid with extraordinary and stable fertility throughout the country. In 2015, it was at the level of a1 – medium intensity, over 8t/ha (116% of standard), and at the level of a2 – intensive – about 10 t/ha – 118% of standard. A thick grain with good uniformity and low content of offal. Extraordinary grain quality – suitable for grinding and baking purposes (no problem with the so-called “dead cake” in bakery). The highest resistance to the diseases of the straw base. Proven in cultivation in monoculture. Low susceptibility to ergot. Extreme winter hardiness (resistant to frost and snow mold). A hybrid of good lodging resistance. It is a very good forecrop for rape and sugar beets. It shows a very good tillering ability. The recommended seeding rate is 2 seed units: 180-210 germinating seeds per 1 m2 (ca. 65-75 kg/ha).
